6th graders, Sandy and Sierra, have been selected to advance from the district level (all private and independent schools) to the State level. The states will be held in April. From now until April, the students will be working on improving their projects and presentations.
Sandy's project, "Salty Salt," investigates which type of salt makes ice colder. Useful information when making homemade ice cream!
Sierra's project, "Bacteria, here, there, everywhere," investigates where bacteria is most prevalant.
We congratulate these students as they enter their first State level Science Fair, and also congratulate Mrs. Tsuda, their science teacher.
