December 17, marks the day our dream of having a bigger bathroom for our youngest students becomes a reality! After many years of dreaming and delays, the project has begun.
Our students have been working with a bathroom that had one stall and one sink. Soon they will have a boys and a girls bathroom. The boys bathroom will have 2 urinals, one bathroom stall, and 3 sinks. The girls will have 3 stalls and 3 sinks. The water fountain will be relocated outside of the bathrooms, so anyone can drink during the day.
We would like to take time to thank Mr. Oliver Aglugub and Aurora Construction for helping our dream come true. Mr. Aglugub put in many hours working on the plans and working with the city permit department. Making the required changes and resubmitting the permit request were all done by Mr. Aglugub. As many of you know, the permit process is slow and sometimes frustrating. So we deeply appreciate Mr. Aglugub's perserverance on our behalf.
